Death threat? Or just bad gammer!

There is always the problem of someone disagreeing with something or other and this problem will never go away. After all I do say that on this blog that we will piss off everyone sooner or later!

The only trouble is being able to tell who is venting a serious and well thought out objection....... and who is a person who can't express themselves as well as they would like......... and who is just plain fucking nuts!

(Now I realize that a few of my attempts at humor have bombed but I don't think this is what he is referring too!)

I will let you read this post from last September and the reply I got today and if you have any comments please leave them!

Heaven help us!

Is there any one world religion that can truthfully document its origins ?

The early Christian gospels are not historical biographies of Jesus. They were written in a way that appeals to historical truth, but are not history in any actual sense. The Gospels were written between 40 to 200 years after the fact, and then drastically altered during the “Council of Nicea.”

In Islam, there is no actual copy of the Koran. The earliest written record of the Koran was mentioned in a biography of Mohammed by Ibn Ishaq who wrote about 100 years after the death of the Prophet. We don't have an actual copy of that either, just a later reference to it!

Hinduism does not have any one founder, or any single doctrine.

Buddhism is a religion that would be much closer in spirit to the views of an agnostic or atheist.

Where did the book of Mormon come from? Joseph Smith said he translated it from old manuscripts, but all we have are HIS papers.

The only “Religion” documented is “Scientology.” We have all the original bullshit and still some people can’t believe it’s a vast con game!

IF you really have "all the original" materials by Ron Hubbard then you had better kept them in good order and make sure no "improvements" appear.

IF you don't like ("cant' get") the author, then you had better be bombed due to other misunderstandings than on this one.
Who exactly the asses are can be debatable : is it some relatively ignorant "believer" into this or that (some of the old-time religions you mention) or is it some relatively well-informed people (which you have the presumption enough to pretend) who would play on 'the masses'.

What God has to do with this all has usually been moot and presumably there is little to argue about on just such a consideration.

Since I am not planning to visit your site again (unless by some chance "find" via Google or the like), I am neither expanding on these topic nor offering more 'discussion'. May I be forgiven, on this count, my not being specific on anything connected with my own person.

(On a side note here, I do not want to imply that it was a Muslim who sent me that comment. I rather think that it was a fundamentalist Christian. The reason I used that cartoon of Muhammed with a bomb on his head was because it caused all that trouble with Islamists a while back and the whole thing was handled wrong. As soon as they started bitching, EVERY newspaper in the Western world should have run a copy of it to show that we can't be blackmailed and threatend by ANY religious group!)
