The 14% Majority
The response was overwhelming - 86% to keep the words, In God We Trust in the Pledge of Allegiance and God on the money! 14% against.
Still the debate rages.
I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a furor about having "In God We Trust" on the U.S. money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance when it is wanted by the overwhelming majority.
Why is everyone catering to this 14%? They are like everything else in this world. It doesn't matter what the issue is - just scream loud enough and the majority will have to give in to your demands. After all, that's easier than having a bit of backbone!
Can I get an AMEN!
