Al Gore investigated, then cleared!

A day after receiving Oscar glory for a documentary on global warming, former Vice President Al Gore was called a hypocrite by a Tennessee group saying his Belle Meade home is using too much energy.

The home’s average month electric bill topped $1,359.

At first, police thought he had a marijuana "grow-op" in the house to use that much electricity, but an investigation failed to turn up anything!

In spite of this, Drew Johnson, president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research said; “As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk (the) walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use!”

Anybody can throw mud. In this case, the conservative group making the stink had more mud on them for throwing it than did Al Gore for having it thrown at him.

This "Tenn Group" gets funding by the AEI. They will next say that Al Gore roles around in petroleum for Wiccan rituals.

Just so there is no mistake about this, the part about the cops, and "grow-op" were only put in by me as satire and is not true!
I respect what Gore is doing and don't want to give a false impression of him.
