The arrogance of the Catholic Church!

I read an article a week or two ago about how the Muslims have taken over as the world's biggest religion and there was something about it that didn't sit quite right with me.

Now please understand that I couldn't really care less who has the most people following their dogma but what struck me yesterday was the realization that the Catholic Church was talking about CATHOLICS, not Christians in general.

That would be about the same as saying that there are more Catholics than Sunnis and forget about the Shia or Sufi.

It is this egocentric attitude of the Catholic Church to discount other branches of Christianity as irrelevant that has been at the heart of many of the woes the Church has had to endure over the centuries.

Don't believe me.............. go ask Martin Luther, or John Knox, or even Henry V111!

The Catholic religion has the most followers in the entire world. But, what difference does it make??

No cause for anger or alarm; a fact is a fact. What arrogant about a fact??

Esther, Esther, two things you are missing here!
First of all they do not have the most followers anymore. Muslims do...........! (If you count the Catholic Churches claim that they are the only true representatives of the Christian Church.)
World wide all of Christianity has 33% of the faithful.
Islam has about 21%.
"The Church of Allan" has me and a few others so we have a long way to go!!
