I was in the kitchen making a coffee when the T.V. in the living room informed me that there is a guy who plays for the Toronto Blue Jays that just signed a contract for 18 million buck a year, every year, for the next 7 years.
That's a 126 million dollars. ($126,000.000.00)
FOR PLAYING BASEBALL!
That's $50,000.00 dollars a year (a thousand a week) for 2520 years. Which means he will come out of retirement in 4526 A.D. and have to work like the rest of us.
And here I am trying to budget for Christmas!
Jesus Christ, I think I'm going to puke!
