Saw something today that totally surprised me!

We all know that there are rattlesnakes in North America but did you know that 8-10 THOUSAND people are bitten by them every year?

Fortunately, with anti-venom easily available only a handful of victims actually die from these bites! But God help you if you're miles in the bush hunting or fishing!

We all know about the gang problem and organized crime in North America as well, but did you know one of the biggest gangs and source of organized crime are the Indians?

I'm not talking about the ones with the Turbans on their heads, I'm talking about the ones with the feathers!

As I have written a few times, one of the biggest cons they have going is the issue of "land claims!"

Since they are holding the government for ransom and not the average citizen they get away with a lot more and believe me, they are pushing as hard as they can!

It's really quite simple; Look at any land claim ever signed....... declare it unfair or better yet, null and void, and then re-occupy the land and hold it for ransom.

We had an Indian here in Ontario by the name of Dudley George, and he was killed by the cops during a standoff at Ipperwash Provincial Park in the 1990's. (Dudley was a member of the FBI.... A Fucking Big Indian!)

(This is the best thing that ever happened to the Indians because they raised such a public stink about it that the cops are now afraid to do anything to them no matter how much they trample the law!)

On top of the hundreds of millions in land claims, they have moved into newly built subdivisions, claim it as theirs, and occupied the new houses.

They claim rivers as their fishing territory and then charge anyone who builds within five miles of it a development fee.

(And this is in heavily populated Southern Ontario!)

They even tried to claim half of the City of Sarnia, but when talk among the white folk about "Lynchings" started to circulate, they gave that one up!

Now the latest scam is about to surface. Here is part of an article in the London Free Press this morning by MICHAEL OLIVEIRA, of Canada Press.

An alleged plan by Ontario Provincial Police to break up a native protest with force and the recent incarceration of aboriginal leaders for protesting a mining site on their land are threatening the already fragile relationship between First Nations and governments, aboriginal leaders said yesterday.

Representatives from several northern Ontario First Nation communities gathered in Toronto to speak out against the cases of seven aboriginal protesters -- including a chief and deputy chief -- who last week were handed six-month jail sentences for violating court orders and continuing protests against mining on their traditional lands.

"The children of the jailed protesters will be without a parent for half a year, and the communities feel spurned by the Ontario government despite promises of a new, healthier relationship in the years ahead," said Chief Scott Jacob of the Webequie First Nation. "The decision last week to incarcerate (aboriginal) leadership to me is not a respectful, meaningful relationship," he said.

The Liberal government didn't want the protesters from the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI) First nation to receive jail sentences and petitioned to the court on their behalf, but Premier Dalton McGuinty said he can't undo the court's decision. "There's an independent judicial process," McGuinty said.

Now kids, listen to this! Here is just how far the Indianscan go with the government. Aboriginal Affairs Minister Michael Bryant said the government has already offered $200,000 toward the protesters' legal fees and is willing to do more if they decide to appeal their convictions.

"There's no way that as long as they're incarcerated, we're going to be able to make much progress," Bryant said. "That's why we opposed in court their incarceration.."

But representatives from the KI and Ardoch Algonquin First Nations made it clear in a letter to McGuinty they don't feel the government is on their side.

"The indifference shown by your government towards the rights of First Nation communities, and the imposition of long jail terms and crippling fines in the name of the 'rule of law' has further eroded respect for both the legal system and the government of Ontario," the letter reads.

The communities were even more distressed after hearing a CBC report that alleged OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino told officers they should use force if necessary when facing protests during last June's aboriginal day of action.

"When people want to speak out for their rights and guns are pulled out . . . that is not right and that is not just and that is what's affecting our people today," said KI spokesperson John Cutfeet.

The CBC reported a series of notes handwritten by police officers outlined orders to carry out a morning raid of blockades that were set up on highways in eastern Ontario. The raid did not take place, and protesters eventually removed the barricades, but some notes said the scene verged on "anarchy" at times, and suggested Fantino "would not/could not tolerate (Highway) 401 being closed all day."

The Indians keep saying they will not tolerate this sort of situation...... when do we start saying the same thing!!!!!!!

Police seized weapons including three grenade launchers yesterday during raids on a network accused of moving Quebec pot to the United States through Mohawk territory.

A senior RCMP official says he was taken aback by the arms cache found during yesterday's bust.

"This isn't something you stumble across in every investigation," Supt. Steve Covey said.

Covey said police had no idea what the grenade launchers were going to be used for.

The heavy-duty weapons including several assault rifles were rounded up by 300 police officers who targeted Montreal and three aboriginal communities.

Raids were carried out by the Mounties, QPP and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.The raids took place in Montreal and the Mohawk communities of Kahnawake, Kanesatake and Akwesasne.

The small arsenal included two AK-47 and two M-16 assault rifles as well as $2 million in cash. Police also seized luxury vehicles and about 110 kilograms of cannabis.

Insp. Lino Maurizio of the Quebec provincial police said about 30 suspects were arrested and members of the ring will charged with offences including gangsterism, drug trafficking and conspiracy.

They will also face charges of possession of prohibited weapons.

Ten of the suspects were arrested in Akwesasne, near Cornwall eight in Kahnawake, south of Montreal, and one in the native community of Kanesetake.

The others were picked up in the Montreal area.

Gorden McGregor, president of Quebec's association of aboriginal community police chiefs, said a flood of drugs and money have caused serious harm to native communities.

"Imagine a little community when large amounts of money and drugs coming in like that, the trouble that comes with it," said McGregor.

"For us, our priority is drugs. Drug trafficking causes the biggest social problem in our communities."

Rats and Other Vermin!

Scientists in Uruguay have found the fossil remains of a 2,000 pound (1,000 kg) RAT that lived 2 million years ago -- the largest rodent ever found.

"We report the discovery of an exceptionally well preserved fossil skull of a new species of rodent, by far the largest ever recorded," they wrote in a report in Britain's Proceedings of the Royal Society.

"Rodents are a very successful group of mammals living almost worldwide and with small body masses (generally less than 1 kg or 2.2 pounds)," they wrote.

"However, our work suggests that 2 million years ago in South America, rodents with 1,000 kg (2,200 pounds) of body mass (a 'mouse' larger than a bull) lived with terror birds, saber-toothed cats, ground sloths and giant armored mammals....... among others."

The Book of Mormon needs changes!

Just like any old religious document it often runs afoul of modern scientific fact and needs an "Opps! We got it wrong!"

Mormons, (As told in my book "The Plain Truth About God") have had to backtrack on a number of issues during the last little while including Polygamy, Slavery, Ancestry and a bunch of other stuff.

The change is in the second paragraph of the introduction to the 2006 Book of Mormon, the most recent printing of the book published by Doubleday.

The last sentence of that paragraph, which discusses the fate of ancient civilizations, stated in previous editions that the Lamanites, a nation of people that originated in Jerusalem, “are the principal ancestors of the American Indians.”

The newest edition states the Lamanites are “are among the ancestors of the American Indians.” The change suggests that more recent scientific data contradicts Mormon teachings.

The Book of Mormon is the reference book for the church, just like the Bible.

Mormons believe the founder of the church, Joseph Smith, translated the book from a set of engraved golden plates buried on Cumorah Hill in Manchester, N.Y.

The book teaches, in part, that Native Americans were descendants of the Lamanites, who migrated to America from Israel.

Science has found no credible evidence to support the migration theory in the Book of Mormon, according to the Institute for Religious Research. Instead, science supports a Siberian or Asiatic origin for Native Americans, the institute reported in 2004.

The only good thing I can say about the Mormons is that at least they had the guts to change their dogma in the face of scientific evidence, instead of rejecting it or even condemning it like the Christian and Islamic faiths.

(Although they are ALL guilty of being "full of shit!")

Now............ don't do your kid a favor by having "Clowns" at their next birthday party! (Unless he's 32)

Children don't like clowns and even older kids are scared of them.

The news was revealed in a poll of youngsters by researchers from the University of Sheffield who were examining how to improve the decor of hospital children's wards.

The study, reported in the Nursing Standard magazine, found most the 250 patients aged between four and 14 that they quizzed disliked clowns, with even the older ones finding them scary.

"As adults we make assumptions about what works for children," said Penny Curtis, a senior lecturer in research at the university.

"We found that clowns are universally disliked by children. Some found them quite frightening and unknowable."

Ross is not one to pull any punches so I pay attention when he says that John McCain is not all he is cracked up to be!

Seems he has issues with McCain's honesty and character!

The wedding ceremony for Eddie Murphy and film producer Tracey Edmonds two weeks ago is already over...... we think!

Murphy, 46, and Edmonds, 40, traded vows on New Year's Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia in a ceremony that was not legally binding.

"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forgo having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," said a statement on behalf of both Murphy and Edmonds issued by publicist Arnold Robinson.

This not only leads us to the question "Did they, or didn't they?" But also: "Will they, or won't they?" And of course" "Do we care, or not?"

Two weeks is a short time even by Hollywood standards but I don't think it's anywhere near a record!

Canada disagrees with United Nations "Rights of Indigenous Peoples!"

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a non-binding declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples after 22 years of debate.

The document proposes protections for the human rights of native peoples, and for their land and resources. There are estimated to be up to 370 million indigenous people in the world. They include the Innu tribe in Canada, the Bushmen of Botswana and Australia's Aborigines.

It passed despite opposition from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. They said it was incompatible with their own laws.

Campaigners say they are under greater pressure than ever, as developers, loggers, farmers and mineral extractors move in on their land.

The Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples calls on countries to give more control to tribal peoples over the land and resources they traditionally possessed, and to return confiscated territory, or pay compensation.

The General Assembly passed it, with 143 countries voting in favour and 11 abstaining.

Four nations - Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States - each with large indigenous populations, voted against. Australia said it could not allow tribes' customary law to be given precedence over national law. "There should only be one law for all Australians and we should not enshrine in law practices that are not acceptable in the modern world," said Indigenous Affairs Minister Mal Brough.

A leader of a group representing Canada's native communities criticised his government's decision to oppose the declaration. "We're very disappointed... It's about the human rights of indigenous peoples throughout the world. It's an important symbol," said Phil Fontaine, leader of the Assembly of First Nations.

Campaign group Survival International says Canada's Innu tribe, who live in the frozen Labrador-Quebec peninsula, are struggling to maintain their traditional lifestyle as the government allows mining concessions, hydro-electric power schemes, and roads on their land.

The Canadian government said it supported the "spirit" of the declaration, but could not support it because it "contains provisions that are fundamentally incompatible with Canada's constitutional framework." "It also does not recognise Canada's need to balance indigenous rights to lands and resources with the rights of others," a joint statement from the Canadian ministries of Indian and Foreign Affairs said.

Canada has 1.5 million indigenous people, among a total population of 35 million.

(A large percentage of the native population lives in Northern Quebec, but that province's draconian "French Only" lanquage laws are not enforced because the Indians have guns!)

Helplessly Hoping. Or, A Tale of Two Villages!

Helplessly Hoping is a song by Neil Young that begins with the line "There is a town in North Ontario," that for the purposes of our narration should be changed to "There is a desolate village in North Ontario!"

The Kashechewan reserve was formed in 1957 when Ottawa forcibly moved Cree hunters and their families to an isolated plain about 450 kilometres north of Timmins and near the coast of James Bay.

Kashechewan First Nation is one of two communities that were established from Old Fort Albany in the 1950s. The other community is Fort Albany First Nation which is now located on the southern bank of the Albany River seven miles away.

An isolated community, the nearest urban centre is Timmins and it is located approximately 300 miles south. The topography of Kashechewan is generally flat.

During the spring the water level rises 1 or 2 meters up the riverbank and often raises over the riverbank and floods the community.

Like many other First Nations in the area, there is still a lot of dependence on the land. Some families go out spring and fall camping for a month. Before the winter some elders go fur trapping, and they come back when it is safe to go on the river.

During the spring some people smoke geese and fish, and sometimes moose meat or caribou.

When they come back from camp they sell their meat. Sometimes they sell their crafts, like bead work, slippers, moccasins, and carving.

Just so we know exactly what we are dealing with here you have to imagine a village of about 2000 people set on the side of Hudson's/James Bay with no roads (except an ice road in winter) leading into it.

Unemployment hovers around 75% (That's three out of four, boys and girls!) while alcoholism and suicide run rampant through the community.

The community is 60% hooked up to water and sewage systems. Due to the deterioration of the old water treatment plant, a new one was constructed and it has been operational since March 1998. The plant supplies clean chlorinated water to the community.

Ontario Hydro no longer provides electrical power for the community.

Generators were located in Fort Albany and winter months frequently see blackouts, because the capacity of the three generators did not meet the needs of both communities. The generators were linked to the two communities by transmission lines approximately 7 kilometers in length.

Due to these problems, the First Nation lobbied for and received funding to establish their own generating station. In October 1997, a new diesel power plant was built and it is community owned by the Kashechewan Power Authority. As of December 16, 1997, three generators service the population. The administration (billing, meter reading, and maintenance) is under the direction of the Power Authority.

What few jobs are available are mostly government work and consist of the following.

At the very best these businesses and Government agencies employ less than two hundred people and the only bright spot is that you can always get a cab because there are two, (count em', two) cab companies in town. (This is because nobody else has got a car and it's too difficult to walk when you're drunk.)

On top of all this, the main reason for this story is that the village floods just about every spring and the Government, in it's wisdom, is re-building a dyke and dam system with a temporary, emergency repair at a cost of 40 million dollars.

Rebecca Friday, a community member, said she and many other residents are confused about what lies ahead, and many residents were losing hope.

Kashechewan residents continue to languish in overcrowded houses surrounded by a faulty protective flood wall, she told the Canadian Press, and "the people are still experiencing rashes" from the water that comes out of their taps.

So, there you have it! Unless you're real good at hunting, fishing or drinking there ain't too much to do up there!

And the winters are a BITCH!

BUT! The Federal Government, (in its wisdom) has come up with a plan folks! Yes sir!

1. Is it going to move the whole town 300 miles south to Timmins where there are at least some jobs, clean water, a working infrastructure, amenities, bars and best of all CIVILIZATION! ...................... Ahh, NO!

After all it would cost 200 million dollars and that works out to abut 100,000 bucks for each buck, squaw and kid.

2. O.K. then. Are they going to PLAN "B" the so-called Site 5 plan to move the reserve to an entirely new location on higher land, which would have cost an estimated $500 million. (That's half a mil. for each wayward soul!) Ahhhhh.... NO, way too expensive!

Like all good Governments they are going to do what makes absolutely no sense and could even be considered plain fucking stupid! (Surprise!)

They are going to take that 200 million that could have relocated everyone to Timmins (and wiped out all the problems in one fell swoop) and make a $200-million investment "over the next five to seven years" to reinforce a dike, as well as build better drainage systems to protect low-lying areas from spring flooding.

Oh, I know there were some that didn't want to leave their ancestral homeland but let's face it, when there is nothin' happenin', up there it's time to MOVE, bucko's!

Get down to where things are on the go and jobs aren't as scarce as the dwindling stock of game and wildlife. Get in a place where your kids can go to good schools and have prospects for a future other than hunting, fishing and drinking.

As for the rest of you who want to stay on the land and live in the middle of nowhere............... STARVE!

Just because you want to live in those conditions does not mean we have an obligation to look after you!

Indian Giver (part 2)

For all my freinds who chose to call me a "racist piece of shit" for the article on Canada, Land of Wimps I would like to reproduce an article here that I posted on this blog some months back..................!

The conversation would have gone something like this!

"O.K., here's what we came up with and............. Running Bear, put the buffalo wings down, you'll eat later!"

"This whole "cheap smokes" thing is getting stale, plus a lot of people are quitting so we have to come up with a new scam!" "Yea, yea, the Casinos are doing O.K. but diversification is the key my friends."

"What we are going to do is take a long look at every treaty we ever signed with the Federal Government. That's any agreement we made and any dispute that is on-going right now!"

"Then, and this is the good part, it doesn't matter if the treaty is fifty, a hundred or two hundred years old, we march in and occupy the land."

"No, really, just walk in with a bunch of the squaws and kids and set up camp! Maybe start a few fires, you know!"

"Well, yea, we need the women and kids there as a buffer in case the situation takes a turn. Know what I mean!"

"Then, once we have a base of operations, we put up roadblocks and shut down any businesses or construction going on at the site! Yea, just like we are on strike only it's the Federal government we are protesting against"

"Now, here come the kicker..... once we have enough publicity we will be in a position to extort, er, I mean demand, a re-negotiation of whatever it is we are protesting on that location."

"I tell you it's foolproof. We can sign our own ticket!!!"

"THE COPS? Piss on the cops man, they don't do squat. I don't know if they have orders from higher-up or they think we have more guns, but they don't do shit!"

"NO, really, at most they will put the run to the white guys so that there's no trouble. We, meanwhile, have almost a blank cheque to do what we want."

"Yea, really White Cloud, would I lie to you about this! It's a piece of cake!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This fictional scene has been repeated in one form or another many, many times and so far the Canadian Federal Government has been held hostage for hundreds of millions of YOUR tax dollars. (That's a number followed by eight zero's!)

Now don't think this imaginary conversation is so far fetched. At the same time the Indians marched in and took over Ipperwash they also put in a land claim for ALMOST HALF OF THE CITY OF SARNIA!

Fortunately, after a few days of sober reflection they realized that this one would never fly so they came back and said: "About that Sarnia thing........... never mind!"

CANADA, Land of the Wimps!

(I am writing this introduction a few days after the main article to make something clear. Sorry, it's not the natives who are the wimps, it's the GOVERNMENT who are the wimps for constantly giving in to the French Canadians and the Indians every time they try and extort money out of them. They only have to blink and the Federal Government throws more cash their way!!!

The Indians aren't stupid, they know a good thing when they see it and that's to twist the arm of the Government at every possible opportunity. Read my piece a little futher on about "Indian Giver" ---- and don't think that conversation hasn't been held quite a few times across this great land of ours.)

Although I dearly love this country and would not want to live anywhere else on the planet, sometimes what goes on here is disgusting!

Quebec has been holding this country for ransom since Confederation because they can't get it through their heads that France lost the war on the Plains of Abraham and the British were in charge after that.

The Separatists have extorted everything and anything they can out of Canada under the threat of separation, when in actual fact, if they ever did separate they would go from a "land of plenty" (thanks to Federal Government handouts) to the status of a third world country in short order.

They would be an island of 6 million whining Frenchmen amongst a sea of 350 million Anglos!!!< That's one thing the Parti Quebecois fails to tell voters in La Belle Province.

But, if it's not the French Canadians whining, then it's the Indians.

National native leader Phil Fontaine warned a blue-chip audience on Tuesday that the anger felt in many First Nations communities has reached a breaking point.

"Frankly, we are fearful of the effect this is having on the well-being and public safety in our communities," said the chief of the Assembly of First Nations in a speech to the Canadian Club of Ottawa.


"So here I am again today, hammering away at another group. Many of our communities have reached the breaking point. The anger and frustration are palpable."

A report in Tuesday's Globe and Mail quoted a First Nation leader in Manitoba threatening widespread economic disruption and a potential blockade of CN rail lines connecting Eastern and Western Canada.

Fontaine did not dismiss worries about possible confrontations this summer. While he has a track record of favouring quiet diplomacy over barricades, he suggested to his audience that this tactic has yielded few results.

"Consider where that attitude has gotten us — obviously not very far," he said.

Fontaine also urged governments to work harder to settle more than 1,100 outstanding land claims, noting that at the current pace of negotiations, it would take 130 years to resolve them.

Pointing to severe overcrowding in many native communities, Fontaine spoke of visiting Pikangikum, an Ontario reserve about 300 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg, where he witnessed as many as 28 people living in small two-bedroom homes where people are forced to sleep in shifts.

Some parents go without rest so that their children can sleep, he said.

"How many of you in this room would be able to function Monday morning without sleep?" Fontaine asked.

The Conservative government has pledged $46 million over the next five years for the embattled community, which has been plagued by suicides and a lack of basic services such as indoor plumbing.

Fontaine has repeatedly called on the federal government to spend an additional $5 billion over five years to help ease aboriginal poverty.

"We only want what you already have," he said Tuesday.

The Conservatives shelved the previous Liberal government's $5-billion Kelowna Accord to address the gap in quality of living between Canadians and First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. The deal set targets to improve education, housing, economic development, health and water services, but details of how much of the money would be spent and who would provide the services were left to be negotiated at a later date.

Speaking outside the House of Commons on Tuesday, federal Indian Affairs Minister Jim Prentice said Fontaine had a responsibility to convince aboriginal communities and their leaders not to hold blockades, which he called "counterproductive" and harmful to the "goodwill" Canadians show toward First Nations communities.

"Someone is going to get hurt and I call on all chiefs, and the national chief in particular, to make sure that doesn't happen," Prentice told reporters.

He added the government is making progress at land claims tables, and suggested Fontaine was not accurately representing the state of negotiations. "There seems to be a great deal of rhetoric," the minister said.

Fontaine also spoke of how deep poverty in many First Nations communities leads child welfare officials to remove children from their families.

"The number of First Nations children today who have been removed from families and placed into state care is now three times the number of children that were in residential schools at the height of this terrible experience.

"It is my understanding that is not usually because of deliberate physical or sexual abuse, but because of poverty and its terrible consequences.… It isn't because of lack of parental love, as has been suggested," adding that the Assembly of First Nations has filed a complaint about First Nations child welfare with the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

Fontaine pointed out that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Children states that child welfare officials must not remove children from homes due to poverty.

He then drove the point home by asking his audience to imagine how they would feel as parents if they were to return home to find their children had been taken into state care.

"Think of what it would do to them emotionally, and to you," he said. "Hopefully, you'll feel uncomfortable enough to do something about this."

Well I've got news for Mr Fountaine; First of all the native reserves down south here are a national disgrace and need to be cleaned up.

These people choose to live for the most part in substandard housing with multiple wrecks of old cars on their front lawns and rampant crime running through their community.

Local jails are housing a disproportionate number of Indians. The native population of provincial jails is hovering around 20% while the native population of the province as a whole is about 2%. (If you work it out that's ten times the national average!!!)

Blockading rail lines and having standoffs such as Caledonia and Oka to extort money from the Federal Government is not the way to go.

Phony land claims and welfare are no substitute for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and making something of yourself, after all you don't see the Chinese causing any trouble on their reserve. (Markham)

As for the Indians living on reserves up north by Hudson bay or whatever else God forsaken place they find themselves in I have some advice.

If the fishing and hunting is no longer any good, if you want to live more like people down south with modern amenities and conveniences, if there is no industry or infrastructure to give you a chance at making a living and the only way to get in and out of your community is by airplane, then there is only on logical solution to this dilemma,........................... MOVE DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't expect us to give you endless welfare, if the land can't support you, GET OUT! That's what the Irish did in the 1840's and 50's and what the Europeans in general did right up to the 1970's, so what's holding you back?

You might remember a while back when I was talking about a scam the Indians had of holding the Government hostage over land claims and that so far they have extracted hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation.

You ain't seen nothin' yet, folks!

The latest news (Thanks to our fine feathered Friends!) is that a 300 million dollar project to build a giant "Wind Farm" along the shore of Lake Huron has been cancelled!

One of the main reasons it fell through is - Here it comes! Are you ready? There is a Native Reserve just upwind from the site and......

The Indians want compensation for THEIR WIND! Really! The Chief stood there with a straight face and said; "The wind blows from our land to yours, it's OUR WIND!" (This goes to show once again what I keep saying; "Tell people something enough times, with enough conviction, and they will believe just about anything!"

I wasn't sure whether to put the news here, or to include it in my Sunday Morning Funnies column!

I swear to God that I'm not making this up!

(P.S. If they were downwind, maybe we could charge them to breathe! On s serious note this was not the only issue that caused the cancellation. Epcor Utilities Inc. said there were also problems with the municipal approval process and setback requirements but these are not nearly as much fun to write about!)

Indian Giver!

The conversation would have gone something like this!

"O.K., here's what we came up with and............. Running Bear, put the buffalo wings down, you'll eat later!"

"This whole "cheap smokes" thing is getting stale, plus a lot of people are quitting so we have to come up with a new scam!" "Yea, yea, the Casinos are doing O.K. but diversification is the key my friends."

"What we are going to do is take a long look at every treaty we ever signed with the Federal Government. That's any agreement we made and any dispute that is on-going right now!"

"Then, and this is the good part, it doesn't matter if the treaty is fifty, a hundred or two hundred years old, we march in and occupy the land."

"No, really, just walk in with a bunch of the squaws and kids and set up camp! Maybe start a few fires, you know!"












"Well, yea, we need the women and kids there as a buffer in case the situation takes a turn. Know what I mean!"

"Then, once we have a base of operations, we put up roadblocks and shut down any businesses or construction going on at the site! Yea, just like we are on strike only it's the Federal government we are protesting against"

"Now, here come the kicker..... once we have enough publicity we will be in a position to extort, er, I mean demand, a re-negotiation of whatever it is we are protesting on that location."

"I tell you it's foolproof. We can sign our own ticket!!!"

"THE COPS? Piss on the cops man, they don't do squat. I don't know if they have orders from higher-up or they think we have more guns, but they don't do shit!"

"NO, really, at most they will put the run to the white guys so that there's no trouble."
"We, meanwhile, have almost a blank cheque to do what we want."

"Yea, really White Cloud, would I lie to you about this!"
"It's a piece of cake!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This fictional scene has been repeated in one form or another many, many times and so far the Canadian Federal Government has been held hostage for hundreds of millions of YOUR tax dollars.
(That's a number followed by eight zero's!)
