'Bin Laden' urges U.S. to convert to Islam.

You know, every once in a while ya gotta sit back and say to yourself "what the fuck!"

How "nuts in the head" are some people that they live in a dream world totally divorced from reality.

So, before we get to the main course I will give you some examples of fucked up thinking to the max.

-Argentina invades the Falklands and thinks Britain will just say "Oh well!"
What were they thinking!!!

-A guy who tried to put an ejection seat in a helicopter.
What was he thinking!

Or these:
-Inflatable dart board.
-A book on how to read.
-Wooden barbecue
-Glow-in-the-dark sunglasses.

Well, you get the idea! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!

"I don't know, but you ain't seen nothin' yet boys and girls.

Remember Osama? Osama bin Laden! You know..... tall guy, stupid beard, long robes!

Yea, that's him.

Listen to this, a new video tape purportedly made by al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has urged the American people to embrace Islam in order to stop the war in Iraq.

The release of the tape comes ahead of the sixth anniversary of the 11 September attacks.

It appears to show Bin Laden sitting at a table, dressed in a white robe and turban and beige cloak. His beard looks shorter and darker than in the video issued in 2004. Beneath him a banner reads in English "A message from Sheikh Osama Bin Laden to the American people".

Now the first part is sort of within the bounds of normalcy in that there is nothing obviously nuts about what he says:

"You made one of your greatest mistakes, in that you neither brought to account nor punished those who waged this war," the speaker in the tape says, according to the transcript obtained by ABC News.

"You permitted Bush to complete his first term, and stranger still, chose him for a second term, which gave him a clear mandate from you... to continue to murder our people in Iraq and Afghanistan."
The next statement is sort of sane as well. The speaker tells the American public that there are two ways to end the war in Iraq:

"The first is from our side, and it is to continue to escalate the killing and fighting against you."
Now, this is where we enter the Twilight Zone. The second way, he continues, is to reject America's democratic system and convert to Islam.

RIGHT! Islamic Radicals have terrorized America and most of the world and they think in their twisted little brains that we might convert to Islam to make them stop their war on us.

These assholes run around yelling "convert or we will kill you" and then say in all sincerity, "Either that, or you can convert!" (Or we will kill you!)
What are they thinking!!!

"It has now become clear to you and the entire world the impotence of the democratic system and how it plays with the interest of the peoples and their blood by sacrificing soldiers and populations to achieve the interests of the major corporations". "I invite you to embrace Islam," the speaker (bin Laden) says.
I wonder.......... if it's late a night and Osama is sitting by himself in his cave or tent or whatever and he is thinking about stuff......... do you think he drools and has sort of a vacant stare?

Straight from the horses mouth!

Adham Benni is past president of the Arab Students' Association here at The University of Western Ontario and has been quite vocal over the years with sharing his views on the relationship between Christians Jews, and Muslims.

Here is a small excerpt by him from this weekend's London Free Press and the reason I make note of it here is that we need a lot more people just like him. The silent majority might be most of us, but we sure don't say much!"

Enough is enough with Muslim apologetics. Just step back for one second, and ask yourself why do Muslims choose to live in Canada, and not live in their homelands?

The answer is simple; they are running away from Shari'a or man-made Islamic Medieval laws that has caused Muslim civil wars, bigotry, demagogy and stagnation.

You know very well that most Shari'a law is politicised and has many biases against women, non-Muslims and other minorities. As a Canadian Muslim, I do not abide by these man's made laws; especially laws that promotes Jihad against the Infidels (Christians and Jews).

This was the language of old conflicts between the Christian Crusaders and the Muslim Jihadists.

Christians have reformed and separated politics from religion and prospered, where we as Muslims have failed miserably.

Most Muslims are peace-abiding citizens, but we cannot keep our head in the sands and pretend that there is no problem with how Islam is interpreted to justify Holy killings. So as a Moderate Muslim, why don't you stop blaming Bush for Muslim failings to adapt and accept modernity, and start the crucial task of confronting extremism within our communities, and make the world a safer place?

A Cry in the Wilderness

There are many, many Arab sites and blogs which promote hatred, anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Jewish, anti-Christian viewpoints.

These sites cater mostly to the poor and lower class because (surprise! surprise!) they are the most religious and in the majority.

The Arab (And Persian) middle-class however are a whole different ball game. While only the minority, they represent a point of view that is more reasoned and logical.

They have long odds to beat, but theirs is not a cry in the wilderness.

People are listening and I would like to convey one of these blogs from Iraq for your perusal. (Since this blog is out of Iraq I thought it prudent to give the writer anonymity.)

Begging for more anger!

Iraq's speaker of parliament opened Tuesday's session by complaining "the Pope's excuses are not enough, he must make a clear apology…."

The Islamist speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani said it without shame or hesitation, just like all other leaders who owe us a thousand apologies a day for their ignorance and incompetence.

What can I say? We got used to this kind of behavior. When someone is full of mistakes he finds no shelter except in accusing others of being wrong.

I don't know what good this can do for Iraq or its people!

What difference does it make to the average Iraqi whether the pope apologized or not? Did Mr. Speaker ask himself these questions?

My guess is that he was in a state of euphoria after watching 150 teenagers demonstrating in Basra, which is another proof of the ignorance of its managers.

I saw angry young men burning the flags of America and Israel, and I still can't figure out the connection they saw between Israel or Jews and the Pope!!

In fact the continuous pathetic attempts to blame the West and Israel for everything shows clearly that the motives of such demonstrations are political not religious.

Anyway, it looks like the reaction of Muslims were not as violent or as bloody as the leaders wished them to be and that's why they're now provoking and yelling at the "sleeping" masses and pushing them to show more fury.

They want to add another big scene to the countless previous ones—angry mobs burning flags and pledging to destroy the "infidels".

Actually their latest calls for MORE ANGER are becoming pretty much like begging.

Meanwhile, Iran thinks the Muslim people fell short of doing their duty and Qaradawi calls on Muslims to have a "day of fury".

All these are theatrical acts directed by governments and corrupt clerics seeking controlled anger among the mobs to use in intimidating the West and discouraging it from applying more pressure on, or calling for changing, these tyrannical regimes.

Such calls are taking the headlines in the governments-controlled media in the Arab countries, and the governments, whether religious or secular, are promoting this provocation of anger.

Meanwhile, voices of reason are being pushed to the rear -to appear in a short subtitle or in a tiny corner in the 10th page, or even not mentioned at all.

What the rulers want is the anger that the masses, in the eyes of the rulers, did not express enough of.

What has to be done now from the governments' perspective is to lash those lazy masses with the whips of the media and religion to do more angry protests and show more fist-shaking on TV.

For a while let the people forget about poverty, hunger, terrorism, illiteracy and other problems of the region…

And let's redirect the world's attention from "insignificant" issues like Darfur, nuclear reactors, Hizbollah's defiance or Syrian and Iranian meddling with Iraq's or Lebanon's affairs.

What matters now is anger and only anger.

Right Mashhadani? Right Ahmedinejad? Right Asad? Right Mubarak?

Now in answer to this I have to once again quote from the blog: "Enough With The Apologies Already!"

A lot more time has been spent analyzing what the pontiff meant to say, or should have said, or might have said if he had been given better advice.

All of which is simply beside the point, since nothing the Pope has ever said comes even close to matching the vitriol, extremism and hatred that pour out of the mouths of radical Imams and fanatical clerics every day across Europe and the Muslim world.

Almost none of which ever provokes any Western response at all.

Maybe it's time that it should: When Saudi Arabia publishes textbooks commanding good Wahhabi Muslims to "hate" Christians, Jews and non-Wahhabi Muslims, for example, why shouldn't the Vatican, the Southern Baptists, Britain's chief rabbi and the Council on American-Islamic Relations all condemn them -- simultaneously?

By "we" I also mean the White House, the Vatican, the German Greens, the French Foreign Ministry, NATO, Greenpeace, Le Monde and Fox News -- Western institutions of the left, the right and everything in between.

True, these principles sound pretty elementary -- "we're pro-free speech and anti-gratuitous violence" -- but in the days since the Pope's sermon, I don't feel that I've heard them defended in anything like a unanimous chorus.

As one of the newsletters from the Ayn Rand Institute says:
"These people (Middle East governments and clergy) are laughing at us because nobody in the (Western)media or government will stand up and tell it like it really is!"
Just so you know!

Boy, did we get it wrong!

We have a major problem on our hands as North Americans and non-Muslims.
Simply stated – they- (Extreme Muslim Fundamentalists) want us (and everyone else) converted to Islam or dead.

This problem will not go away in our lifetimes.

I can see some young people in the Middle East who are poor, impoverished, stupid and ignorant, being indoctrinated by these religious extremists.

What REALLY gets me though is the fact that there are some well educated people living in North America and Europe who also believe this crap the fundamentalist put out. The most recent example are the 17 "youths" in Toronto who were arrested under terrorists charges. Toronto, of all places!!!!!

This is twelfth century thinking, and anyone who lives in the twenty first century and still buys into it is seriously bent!

And I mean SERIOUSLY! A.W.J.

I think people should understand what is in the Koran to understand what is happening in the world.

The Koran calls for all Muslims to fight and kill infidels, i.e. non-Muslims. This guarantees you into heaven. In fact, in Islam that is one of the best guarantees into heaven. According to the Koran you can live a good life, help people, and be exemplary in every respect, and still you have to be judged by Allah. Kill some infidels and you are in - guaranteed.

The language and words in the Koran are clear unlike some of the stories in the Bible. The argument some people have is that these terrorists are somehow “twisting Islam”, but that is not the case at all - they are following Islam and what is written in the Koran. Fully 60% of the writings in the Koran deal with killing, fighting, and jihad.

While it is true that the vast majority of all Muslims do not kill innocents or believe that it is right, these Muslims are not “Good Muslims!” This is according to the Fundamentalist Extremists, who say that the majority do not follow the Koran to the letter. (Their letter!)

Most people say that there are passages that promote peace and love and harmony with other religions in the Koran - this is true, however, these are Muhammad’s early writings and the top Islamic Fundamentalist Scholars have declared that Muhammad’s later, more aggressive statements supersede these earlier peaceful tolerant writings.

Remember that many of the 9/11 hijackers were well educated and came from reasonably affluent families. I suspect that the folks who planted explosives on the subway cars in London and the train in Spain fit a similar profile.

An article by Lee Harris provides an interesting and somewhat chilling insight into the terrorist attack of 911 and those that followed. Harris maintains that these attacks have the characteristics of a blood feud rather than those of a war.
(SEE THE BLOG ON BLOOD FUEDS "THE LOGIC BEHIND ARAB THINKING")

We already knew that the so-called war on fundamentalist terror would be a long term affair and "Yes it’s twelfth (or eighth) century thinking, and yes, it’s tribal, but do they hate us because of our freedom and Western Values?" NO! They probably hate us because we are, to the fundamentalists, simply infidel crusaders.

Remember, they carry their grudges a long, long time!
