Say Cheese!

Well I have talked about this, and looked at it a bunch of times, and finally got all the facts and figures back into "Perspective!"

Last year (2007) I had about 50 thousand people log on to my site, of which about half spent more than two minutes each reading it, and a great many of those people commented on the articles.

Almost all the comments (96%)were favourable and they told me what a good job I was doing and how they enjoyed the blog!

Then I looked at the stats for a site called "cheddarcheese" - and found that a site that simply put a camera on a 45 lb. block of cheese and slowly watched it go mouldy drew a total of 1 and 3/4 million people for the same year!!! (1,750,000)

I think I might either kill myself, or all of the ONE AND THREE QUARTER MILLION people who watched the cheese go bad! They obviously have no culture. (Get it! Culture!!!!!! ha ha ......................sorry!)

Is it me...............? NAW!

I really wonder about the Internet sometimes. I spend a lot of time trying to make this blog as interesting and informative as possible and my efforts are slowly starting to show promise since there are now thousands of people who have come to this site to see what the state of the world is like.

That is........... until I heard on the news today that there is an Internet site that had nothing but a camera pointed at a 40 lb block of cheese night and day for a year while it went mouldy and they managed to get 1,746,294 viewers over the course of a year.

There is now a new piece of cheese there for 2008 and everyone is betting on whether or not it can beat the old record, both in visitors and mould!

Am I missing something?

I'm an idiot because I just don't get it! Especially after I also went to that site just to see what the fuss is all about...... you can too! H E R E (Or go to www.cheddarvision.tv)
